Larry here, Took the Hemi Cuda down to The Rock to have some fun. Never been there before , but met a lot of nice people. As soon as I pulled in , Bob Riffle (Rod Shop fame ) , came over to greet me. What a surprise, he was with Bullitt Bob Reed, and then there was Dean Sox in his Duster With A fresh INDY HEMI under the hood. By the end of the event, Eugene Coard, and Herb McCandles was hanging out at the Sled City pit area. And you ask, how did my Cuda run? I didn’t take it there to race, I took it there for the right people to see it , and they liked what they saw.

Larry here again, I would have to say that there is a diversity in the cars that were racing. They had some bad ass deisel pickup trucks that were really consistant. There was a tilt nose 48 Desoto cop car running a 440 and had wheele bars, and the swap area was large too. I will go to this one next year too!

larry..thanks for making the “tow” down to the rock. This show was not as big as usual due to economy. It was good to see you and hope to see you at more events. I have finally got my ‘63 back from the fab shop and starting to get it back together. The Bristol Mopar Show is Labor day weekend and should be a good event. The holiday weekend could go either way as far as attendance.
